Laura Ingalls Wilder

We went to DeSmet this past week to visit the Laura Ingalls Wilder historical homes. Nick loves to watch the show and hear about Laura's life. We HIGHLY recommend for parents of young children to visit the Ingalls Homestead rather than the houses in the midst of DeSmet. We ran out of time and found out later that the Homestead has covered wagon rides, hay twisting, pony rides, etc. Next time we will be going that route instead of the one we took! :-)

Nick was anxious to see what the school house was like and as anxious to leave! He thought his school was better than this one.

Here is Tori and Kadence at Brittney's prom this past spring. She loves to be with Tori and Brittney, as does Nick with Andy and Brandon.

Here's Kadence and Brittney. Isn't Brit beautiful? She's as beautiful in the inside as the outside and hopes to one day be a doctor. I know she can do it.



Kyra is getting to like others more and more and will go to anyone in the Berndt family now. Chris and Karma are one set of Kyra's Godparents. We know we chose well!
