It's a boy!!!

It's official! We found out our 4th one is a BOY! Aaron and Nick are ecstatic!!!! Here's a profile of the baby laying on his back.

He's doing a flip on us! He was so curled up for a long time that the ultrasound technician couldn't get to his face.
That little spot on the bottom isn't a 3rd foot!

As monstrous as his feet and his head were in the ultrasound (so I thought), they say that he is measuring just right and weighs about 1 pound, 1 ounce right now.

Kyra's first haircut

Kyra got her first haircut on January 23rd. She was so adorable. She just sat there as patient and as quiet as could be while the girl trimmed away!

Here is the side pose of her. She looks so little in that big chair!

Junior Jacks Night

Nick and Kadence were the Junior Jacks for the girls game on January 22nd. They were both so excited! Here they are in the huddle with the girls team.

Kadence was nervous! She just kept her hands out like this the entire time so the players would give her "ten" when they were introduced. I didn't see it, but according to Aaron, when Kadence was introduced and got onto the court, she hung onto the Jackrabbit's shorts. I couldn't believe it as she was deathly afraid of him last year!

Here is Nick and Kadence getting introduced at the game. I told Kadence to follow Nick and do what he did. They both did a great job!

Here's Emily explaining what is going to happen to them before the players came out of the locker room.

Happy New Year

Morgan, Jay, and Cole (and Jodi) spent the night with us on New Year's Eve because (1) the kids really wanted to and (2) the weather was just plain awful for them to be driving back to Grandpa and Grandma's house. We had a great time! Here is a picture of the kids celebrating the New Year with the confetti they had made.

The kids are anxiously awaiting for the countdown!

It's the MOST WONDERFUL TIME of the year

Kyra was fascinated this year with my mom and dad's nativity set. She took good care of "baby Jesus" by feeding him, burping him, and laying him down to sleep in the stable. I thought this was a cute photo opportunity as she had no idea her brother stuck a bow on the back of her head!

My dad makes the most wonderful wooden toys and items for the house. Here is the puzzle he made Kyra for Christmas.

My brother John and Amy opening presents. I cannot believe how tall Amy is getting! She's such a beautiful girl!

Caught my mom off-guard with this photo!

Here's my dad opening one of our gifts to him. We bought him a DVD/VCR player to have the basement so that he can watch his movies anytime withouth having to bother my mom's TV viewing.

Christmas morning opening presents----Kyra absolutely LOVES play-do. She plays with it on a daily basis. She wanted her pj's off (same with Kadence in the next few pictures) as Kadence claimed she was getting "hot".

Nick just found his DVD/VCR player for his room. Do you think he was excited?

Kadence peered into this bag and saw that it contained a bunch of SDSU Jackrabbit things for her. She exclaimed, "Mom! I can wear something different to the games now!"

Here's the beautiful Morgan and Kadence ready for church on Christmas Eve. Morgan has an American Girl and has an outfit that matched hers for Christmas. It was adorable!

Best of buds....Kadence and her cousin Cole are the best of buddies when it comes to playing together. They have similar personalities and enjoy each other very much.
