Family Pictures
For our Christmas card this year, I wanted to get family pictures taken. Below are a few of the good ones---take a look at Drew in the last one. He was NOT happy about taking more pictures.
Drew
Although Nick HATES this picture, I think it shows the true love between our two boys. Nick LOVES spending time with Drew---it's so wonderful to see the relationship even though they are 8 years apart.
Drew LOVING the beach where we were camping. Although I was hesitant about bringing him along, he absolutely LOVED it!
Drew at preschool. He LOVES going and cannot wait for his buddy Liam to play with him!
Time is going TOO fast. Where has my baby gone? Drew has turned into a beautiful toddler. Although he has his moments, he is a very calm, happy, and caring individual already. He loves to give kisses and doesn't like it when his siblings argue with one another. He may be our peacekeeper in the family. :-)
Gotta check out the farm equipment that's for sale!
It's a Bird...It's a Plane...It's Nick and Kadence??
Yep, you've got it! Nick and Kadence are actually in the plane in the pictures. They were invited to fly around our area on a neighbor's plane. I am actually standing in our driveway taking the pictures. They flew so close to us (but I neglected to take a picture) that I could tell what sides Kadence and Nick were on. They loved the ride but Kadence had a little motion sickness afterwards.
Farm Help
We had a group of children come out to see what a "farm" is all about. We had a great time looking at all the animals and machinery! Drew was and continues to be mesmerized by the cattle. He just can't get enough of them!
First Day of School 2012_2013
Where has the time gone?? I still remember sending Nick off to Kindergarten, thinking, before we know it, he'll be headed to Camelor School! Well, this is Nick's last year at Medary Elementary....the time has gone by too quickly. Kadence was in first grade this year and had Mrs. Bullington as her teacher. Nick was in 3rd grade and has Mrs. Moen. They both love their teachers and are doing SO well! In fact, they both received Kid of Characters AGAIN and received so many positive comments back from their teachers this year. We're so proud of them!
Tackle Football....the First Time for Nick
Nick was on his very first tackle football team this year (3rd/4th graders). He LOVED the sport and couldn't wait for the games each weekend. He played all different positions (except Quarterback because he didn't want to) and actually scored a touchdown at one of the games! He's excited to start again this coming fall.
Kadence as a Flower Girl---Again
Kadence was a flower girl in a friend/neighbor's wedding. Danielle Langland (bride) was actually in the delivery room with us when Kadence was born as she wanted to see what an OB/GYN nurse did during an actual labor (she was studying to be a nurse at the time). The other flower girl, Jazmyn, is actually good friends with Kadence and is in her class this year. They made a great team!
